The stairs leading up to the windmill were quite challenging, especially for those with mobility issues. Another downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower.

I had the most incredible stay at the Windmill in Symi. The view from the windmill was absolutely breathtaking and worth every picture I took. The owners, Stavros and Maria, were incredibly friendly and caring. Despite their limited English, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even inviting us for snacks during our stay. The windmill itself was a unique and unconventional accommodation, and staying there gave me a more local feel of the island. The hosts, Stavros and Ipapanti, were waiting for us with a warm welcome when we arrived early in the morning. They even prepared coffee and biscuits for us after our long walk up the many steps through the town. They provided us with amazing advice on what to see and do, making our stay even better. The highlight of the windmill was undoubtedly the stunning views. I couldn't get enough of them! The windmill was beautifully decorated and had a homely feel to it. Even though the bathroom was small and the mattress could be replaced, these minor inconveniences didn't dampen my overall experience. The only other drawback was that the room was not cleaned and the garbage was not taken out during our four-night stay. However, the Windmill in Symi provided me with one of the best experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend this unique accommodation and the exceptional hospitality of the hosts, Stavros and Maria. I am delighted to recommend this place to anyone looking for a remarkable and unforgettable stay.
